Trisector returns to Med School with a follow up to the lush, amen-fuelled “Morning Rain” single out earlier this year. “Lifeforms” effortlessly rolls back the years to the uncompromising dancefloor sounds of the late-90s, think classic Ed Rush + Optical with 2009 sensibilities. Trisector and Inztance strip it back on flipside “Trace Of A Smile”, constructing a tight framework of rolling beats and growling bass finished with a fine veneer of beautiful guitar and vocal overtones.
