Royalston “Cerulean Blue” EP OUT NOW!
Monday, November 21st, 2011Sydney-based, classically-trained electronic music producer Royalston returns to Med School with his unique brand of glitchy tech drum+bass.
Title track “Cerulean Blue” sets the tone for the EP with tense, trembling synth tones and stern, smacking drums. “Bonesinger”’s beautifully enunciated beats, hissing SFX and thunderous bassline continue to weave the musical magic. “Mantequa” is a tougher incarnation whilst Royalston’s remix of “Japanese Bones” by experimental Australian pop duo MA, is a bold testament to his abilities as a remixer.
